Happies and Crappies

This has been a crazy week, I feel like. But surprisingly, not much to write about.

Happies

1. Some fabulous girls and I are doing a Valentine's Day giveaway on Monday!! Not going to tell you what for yet, so you have to come back. But, I will give you a hint: It will allow you to buy something sexay sexay for V-Day!! (however, see #1 below.)

2. This week went by fairly quickly. I mean when I think back on it Monday seemed so far away, but the week didn't seem to take long.

3. I think I might have convinced Mike to do some painting this weekend. When we moved into our house the entire thing had been repainted for us. Which is awesome. But it is all the same color. The entire house..........So, I need some accent walls in my life. We did paint one in the living room and one in our bedroom before we moved in, but I need some more.

4. It's the freakin' weekend!

Crappies

1. I was a slacker and couldn't get everything together for my giveaway. It was supposed to start today but I had some issues last night and couldn't send everything. I always feel bad when stuff like that happens. But, like I said be sure to stop back on Monday so you can enter!!

2. I didn't make it to the gym at all this week. Read more about it over here. No need to repeat.

It's Friday...sooooooo time for HAPPIES AND CRAPPIES!!

HAPPIES

1. I've gotten so much motivation from my followers at the new blog Fittin It In. If you don't follow, please go check it out! I need all the help I can get to get this dang (dang?) body back in check. But I'm so thankful for all of you guys because you hold me accountable!!

2. Only two more weeks until Christmas break!! And I've finally started to get myself into the Christmas spirit. You might not know this but Christmas is far from my favorite holiday. Of course I love getting together for dinner and decorating, and everyone loves presents...but for some reason, as an adult I have never really gotten excited for Christmas. I'm really trying this year. Maybe it just takes some time to get back into that Christmas spirit like you were as a kid.

3. Mike and I are staying in this weekend. Well, at least that's the plan. Don't get my wrong, I love going to new places and finding little bars and what not, but sometimes a relaxing weekend to get ish done around the house is needed. And we need it get ish done. lol. Plus, we really need to save some money and that means we can just have people over to hang out!!

4. I got to break out the Santa socks last night!! Not like I couldn't have done it before but I felt the need last night.

CRAPPIES

1. This whole eating healthy thing is so hard. I just want a huge plate of cheesy fries!!

BUT THAT'S IT!! It's been a pretty good week so far so I'm good!!

1. Football officially started this week!!!
2. Only 4 days of school this week because of Labor Day!! Whoop Whoop. 
3. We got some pictures up on the wall!! I hate to show pics already because it's so empty but I will later on, I promise!!
4. I finally get a relaxing weekend with no plans!! Unless I decide to go shopping for the house. We'll see!!
5. I'm baaaccckkk!!
Crappies   1. Only one linker yesterday for Thirsty Thursday. That makes me so sad. I know summer is winding down and people are still pretty busy...but... :(
2. Umm...Ravens football...heller?? WTH HAPPENED??? Way to show that you're a contender this year. Dear Boldin and Pitta, I miss you. Dear terd rookie who ran into Jacoby, You're a freakin idiot. Thanks a lot. Have fun sitting at home for the rest of the season cuz your ass is GONE!!
3. My class is coming in so I have to stop blogging. :)

1. The Baltimore Ravens. Just thinking about them makes me all giddy and what not.

2. I only have 2 words. Chris Davis. You're welcome.

3. You can drink, or create a drinking game, to just about any sport ever. (see: Venus Trapped in Mars)

4. Not only do you get to stare at hot men in football pants, but you get to stare at hot women in cheerleading uniforms. :) (Unless you're in Shittsburgh) Sorry Squeelers fans. Not really.

5. Tailgating....enough said.

7. Summer nights at one of the best ballparks in the nation. #CamdenYards

Crappies :(

1. Football season is not year round. Boo!!

2. Beers at games are WAY too expensive. It's awfully hard to keep up this reputation when I have to limit myself to 2 beers. 

3. It's the All-Star break which means I can't even watch baseball.

4. It's so Got Damn hot during baseball season.

5. Ticket prices are so freakin expensive!!

6.We only get the opportunity to spank the Squeelers twice a season...since they can't seem to make the playoffs anymore. :) And one of those games we have to stare at this getup all night long...

I feel like I've been MIA from Happies and Crappies lately. Truthfully, I feel like I've been MIA from a ton of stuff, but no worries...I'm back!!

Happies!!

1. I found a ton of new great blogs to follow with all these group giveaways going on right now!!

2. Yesterday was a beautiful day for an Orange Lush!!

3. Only one more month before we move into the new house!!!

4. We had the gym to ourselves this afternoon. Unfortunately, I was not motivated at all and only wanted to drink myself into oblivion. (See #1 below)

5. I made it to the gym 5 days this week!! As long as I go this afternoon. I have been slacking at that, too. 

Crappies.....

1. My kids have been off the freakin' chain this week...I mean absolutely horrible. I even had to raise my voice!! Why can't I just have my summers off like normal teachers?!?!

2. My cat has fleas. He's an inside cat. Then he gave them to my dog....*sigh*. How does an inside cat get fleas?!?!

3. We have to start packing. I'm determined to do it in an organized way. And I know I'll have to do it all by myself. BOO!!

4. I feel super lazy today so this post is sad. lol.

Gotta Get Down on Friday!!

I have some exciting news!!!!!!!!!!

WE'RE GOING TO BE HOME OWNERS!!!

Our real estate agent called us yesterday and they accepted our offer!! Mike and I were both at the gym at the time and luckily it's a small one in a small town because otherwise people might have thought we were nuts!! We both started jumping up and down and high-fiving. It was a little ridiculous. lol. 

But...we were excited so we didn't care. 

Happies

1. WE GOT A HOUSE!!!! Of course the best happy EVER!!

2. Summer has officially started. Yes, I work a summer program, but I still get home earlier and don't have to drive an hour each way!

3. I got my Vino2Go XL and Brew2Go in the mail yesterday!! So excited!!

4. Two of my great friends are getting married this weekend!! Very excited for them and can't wait to see how gorgeous she looks!!

5. They brought fried chicken for lunch today!! I know, I know...not good for you, but oh well!!

6. Mike and I got my favorite ice cream to celebrate last night. Ben and Jerry's Half Baked. Yummmmmmm!!

CRAPPIES

You get 2 blog posts today! I forgot to include the Happies and Crappies of this week in the last one!!

HAPPIES
1. There are only 2 and a half days left of school!!!!!!

2. I ran 2 miles on Wednesday!!! That's right! 2 miles! That's the most I have ever run in my life. I was so proud of myself. Best part is I didn't want to go to the gym at all and was so unmotivated. Then I did that!!

3. Made it to the gym 5 days this week. Provided I go tonight and tomorrow, which I will!!

4. I came up with an awesome drink for Thirsty Thursday yesterday. I know, I know I'm tooting my own horn a little here, but that stuff is off the chain! *toot toot*

CRAPPIES
1. It's so crappy outside today. Some tropical storm is coming through which means I'll be staying inside this weekend. Actually that could be a happy, too. I'm exhausted!!

2. Summer school starts next Friday. This isn't really a crappy, just sucks that I only get one day off between real school and summer school. Oh well, the cruise in August will make up for it!

3. There aren't any good K-cups in the Teacher's Lounge. My coffee sucks today.

That's about it for this week. Sorry. I'm really exhausted today. Maybe I had too many Princess Peach drinks last night. lol.

1. I have a wedding to go to this afternoon. I love weddings!! And my niece and nephew are in it so that will be even cooler!!
2. My first giveaway is ending tomorrow. Very excited that I got the opportunity to work with Lauren at Elle Sea Creations. If you haven't entered do it now!! This is what we're giving away!!

3. I got nominated for 2 awards!!! The Liebster Award AND the Ivrester Award. Both very distinguished awards and I was honored to be a part of it. :)

4. I am loving the new car. It's always a good feeling when you drive by a dude and he's checking out your car. LOVE IT!!
5. I'm heading to a bachelorette party tomorrow!! Ocean City, MD will be infiltrated with some sloptart beezneetches!! Hail Yeahhhh!!
6. ONE MORE WEEK OF SCHOOL!!! Well, and a day and a half, but...

CRAPPIES
1. The wedding is an hour away from where I work and I'm pretty sure I won't get there in time. lol. Cheers to the nuptials and an open bar.
2. The air conditioning in my classroom is horrible. And with 26 computers blaring heat at me, I could die!!!
3. The hour drive to and from work has been awful. So many grannies out there lately!! My new car's a turbo!! DRIVE PEOPLE!!!
4. I've been super down on my weight loss issue. Seems like I'm not really losing anything. Tried on clothes from 2 years ago and I still can't fit in them. I had no idea I gained as much weight as I did. Let's hope I can get out of my slump.

It's Friday!!! Time for Happies and Crappies!!

HAPPIES 1. IT'S FRIDAY!!! That should always be my first happy. I love Friday's. Not because we do anything in particular, but because it means we have 2 WHOLE DAYS OFF!! lol. This weekend we have 3 days off!! Thank you to everyone who serves our beautiful country!!
2. Last night I took home a new car. :) It's not mine yet but they let us have a one night sleepover. If they can give us the right number... it will me mine. Oh yes, it will be mine. (Wayne's World reference, anyone....anyone?) I'm thinking of naming her Rita. I need something sassy and fiesty. Any suggestions?? Winner gets....*drumroll*.....A VIRTUAL HIGH FIVE!!
3. I have something really exciting happening on the blog next week. I'm not going into details, yet...but stay tuned. It may just have something to do with jewelry. :)
4. I blogged every day this week!!! But I'll, most likely, be taking the weekend off. I'm assuming I'll be recovering and using the "hair of the dog" approach. Which means recovering again. :)
CRAPPIES 1. I only made it to the gym once this week. And...I only ran outside on Sunday. Ugh. We had dinner at Mike's parents Monday, then Book Club on Wednesday, went to get the car yesterday, and buying the car (hopefully) today. This weekend isn't looking good either.
2. This is what I found in my class bathroom this morning. 

How disgusting is that?? We have one custodian here who is the laziest piece of shit on the planet. He literally took my trashcan and dumped it in the toilet rather than in his own large trashcan. The worst part is I can't even complain to my principal because that thing in the middle is a tampon wrapper and that's just embarrassing. So...........I flushed it. Maybe it will back up the whole system. :)

3. It's rainy. And cold. And Memorial Day weekend. It better be pretty tomorrow, damnit!!

4. I have so much anxiety about this car!! And it's so stupid!! It doesn't have a sunroof. I've never had a car without a sunroof. The dealership does an aftermarket one, so we might do that, but I still won't be able to have that light shine down on me. Unfortunately, the one that comes with the sunroof is $2,500 more.

It's Friday!!! Which means....

HAPPIES 1. I played hookie today and went shopping!!!!! Best happy ever!!! Don't worry. I took a Personal Day. 2. I got 16 linkups yesterday for Thirsty Thursday!!!! That is sooo much better than the 2 from last week!! Cant wait until next week!! Don't forget to stop by and link up! 3. While shopping I just happen to buy 2 new pairs of shoes. :) One of which I probably will never wear. I think I may be developing a problem.  4. I got so many great ideas from the linkup yesterday. I may possibly just be trying one of them at the moment!!  5. School is almost out!! Only 2 more full weeks and 1 four day week. Then the kids come back on a Monday and have a half day on a Tuesday...lame!! They should have just let us them off. Fa Rizzy!! 6. True Blood starts soon!! Hellerrrrrr Mr. Stackhouse!! <3 7. Next weekend is Tea Party. Not sure I'm as excited as I was when I was younger, but Memorial Day weekend is always a good time.  8. Took a crapload of clothes to the consignment shop this morning. Let's hope their worth something. Mama needs a brand new bag!! 9. Yesterday was Field Day at school which is exhausting!! But..thanks to all the brand new ideas for dranks, I had a great evening!!

10. OMG!!! I almost forgot!!! So I wrote this on Wednesday about a huge accomplishment I made. I ran 1/4 mile without stopping!! Which I later found out was actually a half mile. But not until after I did THIS ON THURSDAY!!

That's right beeches!! A whole frickin' mile without stopping!! Yes, to some it may not be much, but for me...Hail Yes!!

CRAPPIES 1. Game of Thrones said that there are only 3 more episodes left. WTF?!? Didn't it just start?? Oh well...now that Khal Drogo is dead what's the use anyway? Why yes, Jason Mamoa. I will have your babies. :) Peace, Goob!!

1. Goodie Day today!! The first friday of every month one team brings in goodies. This was our month so I made a delicious dessert. At least I loved it!! Look online for the recipe later. Soo easy AND HEALTHY!!!
2. Only 20 something days of school left!! These kids are out of control!!
3. I finally cleaned up my porch last weekend and hung up the torches and pictures. It looks so beautiful and I can finally sit out there again!
4. Since I missed this last week this one is late...Mike and I just booked a cruise for the summer!! August 10th for a 7 day Western Caribbean on Carnival Liberty! Join us!!

Crappy!!
1. Definitely feel like I've put back on some pounds. I missed a whole week at the gym last week. Oh well...
2. My house is a disaster!! Mike and I have been so busy lately. There is stuff everywhere!!
3. This stupid pollen is ruining my nice clean porch!! It's everywhere!!
4. I posted yesterday about a linkup I want to start on Thursdays called "Thirsty Thursday" and asked if anyone was interested. Not one person replied back. :( That makes me sad.

Happies and Crappies...

For those of you who haven't gone to check out Hang on Honey you need to. Beth is so awesome. She's gorgeous and I just love her cute down to earth personality. I feel like we're old friends.

That's one thing I love about blogging. I love getting to know new people and feeling like I'm a part of their lives as well.

Happies

- My house finally warmed up and we have even been able to keep the windows open. That last month without heat was a doozy.

- I sold a bunch of stuff I don't wear on our schools "Craiglist" and made almost $100!!

- WE HAD SHISH KABOBS!!

- I got to watch my niece and nephew for a few hours on Sunday. They are too cute. I love them!!

               

Crappies

- Now that the house did warm up it smells like dog pee. lol. Long story short, some of the previous tenants didn't necessarily think dogs needed to go outside to pee.

- Missed the gym 3 days this week. UGH!!!

- I'm pale as ish and I have a wedding to go to tomorrow.
