However, all this talk and blogging about the Naked products really makes me want some. Will I ever get any?? Nope. Too expensive. If it's not under $10 and it doesn't come from Walmart it won't be mine. Unless someone wants to buy me some (hint, hint) or I win a giveaway (hint, hint) but other than that, it probably won't happen.
I always thought I would get more adventurous with my makeup. I haven't. I think a smokey eye is gorgeous, but mine always look like I just got into a fight with Ronda Rousey. I'm sure I'm clearly not doing something right. Or maybe it's just that I've always done the whole "natural" look kind of thing and it just feels "unnatural" for me to have a smokey eye?? Who knows. But it looks dumb.
So that's it (See #1). I just really want to get Naked. Any ideas of where I can buy some super cheap?!?
P.S. Sorry to disappoint if you thought I was talking about the "birthday suit" kind of naked. *wink wink*
I just got Naked 1 and 2 for Christmas because lord knows I would never spend my own money on that. Hahaha. But I do LOVE them!!! If you ever have a gift card or win one or get one as a gift, I would look up some YouTube tutorials on some good looks they can create. I'm not very "adventurous" when it comes to makeup. I like it, but im a dud when it comes to actually "creating looks" LOL. Have you ever used e.l.f products? They are at Target. They're one of my favorite drugstore brands and they are stupid cheap!!

ReplyDeleteThe quality of the Urban Decay Naked palettes is amazing. I only have the Naked 2 palette because the color scheme is more my style than Naked and Naked 3, but totally worth the investment. I wear heavy-ish makeup like 3 times a week, so I get good use out of it and after a year and a half of use, I've still got plenty of each shadow to last me until summer-ish. In my experience, it's long lasting and the shades are all beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI usually only wear browns/tans/golds. I feel like I can't pull off a dark smokey eye. Idk it just doesn't look right on me.
It's expensive for damn sure but it's so worth it. I'm not a makeup queen by any sense of the words but this is amazing. It lasts forever and the quality is amazing. I got naked for Christmas last year and I haven't come close to using all of it. Not even one color. And when I don't take it off before bed, it's still beautiful on my eye lids the next morning.

ReplyDeleteI rarely, rarely spend a lot of money on make-up, but I bought the Naked pallet after much internal debate almost two years ago.... and I'm still using the very same one (yes, I am aware you're supposed to toss eye makeup after 3 months or some crap like that). I use mine almost every day, the colors blend together so naturally that you almost can't mess it up, and it LASTS. My MIL just got me a new one for Xmas, and I almost can't bear to part with the old one because there is still so much use left in it. It is completely worth the money - but make sure to pick the pallet that will suit your skin tone best. The Naked3 is really pretty, but there's absolutely no way I can wear those colors, so it's not worth the money. Buy the one you will use!
ReplyDeleteHaha this is so me! The only reason I have nice makeup is because every year my mother buys it for my sister so she buys it for me. I wear the same thing most days, if I remember to put anything on at all.
ReplyDeleteI totally got for cheaper stuff too!! I love the NYX eyeshadows. If it is not a gift then I won't be getting Naked either!! Wink Wink! Also check out Coastal Scents they have super cheap palettes that last forever! I have like 6-10 of them. Obsessed!
